Structural
Structural design is approached as a solutions-driven process. The nature and properties, storage and distribution, and shelving and display of the product are all taken into consideration in the designer's visualization of the ultimate package. Both sturdiness and beauty are esteemed as engineering and art become one. Guided by these concepts, K-1's structural designer uses a CAD machine to cut and crease the prototype from stock paper and folds it into its 3-D form for verification of form, fit, and function. The process is repeated and the design tweaked until all requirements are achieved and the customer gives approval.
Graphics / Pre-Press
Whether you need an original branding with artwork designed from scratch, or would like to submit an existing design electronically for makeover, our graphic designers are ready to provide you with assistance. Our graphic designers are responsible for taking designs through various preparatory stages, culminating in the generation of printing plates, imaged by our in-house computer-to-plate (CTP) system. Because the designers are fully rehearsed as both artists and pre-press technicians, they waste absolutely no time in the original design stage; pre-press problems of provided designs are resolved on the fly while preserving its original appearance.
